| I have always been interested
in needlework, especially crochet and embroidery, having been taught by my
grandmother. Since being given a dolls house for my birthday a few years
ago, I have used these same skills to make furnishing for Hazelhatch. I quickly realized there was a gap in the market for crochet items in 1/12th scale. Once I had contacted Dolls House & Miniature Scene, there was no looking back. My first article was published in June 1998 (Issue 48), a dress for a child in one ply. Since then I have progressed to using the finer bobbin lace making threads manufactured by DMC, Madeira, etc. In recent times, due to prodding from members of a certain mini knitting and crochet group, I have been working on some knitted projects. My latest effort is yet another version of Ickle Ted, this time dressed for a game of cricket. Click here to see my knitted creations. Roz ;o) |
